LIV Golf kicks off its third season with its first major media partner, Fox Sports, in a multiyear agreement that begins with live coverage of more than half of the circuit's events in 2025.
In an announcement confirming the agreement on Thursday, LIV Golf said more than half of its 14 tournaments are scheduled to air live on Fox or FS1, carrying all three rounds of each event.
Select rounds are being broadcast on FS2, Fox Business Network or the Fox Sports App and every round can be streamed on the Fox Sports App and LIV Golf Plus.
New LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil, a former executive for the Philadelphia Flyers and Sixers introduced as Greg Norman's replacement on Wednesday, said FOX "shares the vision for the future of golf, a new model that is redefining how the sport is experienced."
"We are thrilled to partner with FOX Sports, one of the preeminent broadcast networks in the world," O'Neil said in a statement. "LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder, and this relationship signals the next phase of growth as our league joins the company of the nation's premier sports leagues and conferences."
Ratings for LIV Golf have not been strong despite signs pointing to growing interest and traction with younger viewers keeping tabs on the likes of Bryson DeChambeau, who has a massive YouTube following.
Previous media partnerships lacked the reach of Fox. The CW Network carried coverage of some events during the first two seasons of LIV Golf, which will still handle event production and on-air talent, according to the circuit.
The 2025 LIV Golf schedule crosses multiple continents before the first U.S. tournament in Miami in April.
The 2025 season opens Feb. 6 in Saudi Arabia before stops in Australia (Feb. 14-16), Hong Kong (March 7-9) and Singapore (March 14-16).
